A Few Updates

 I know it's been a while since I posted and I know some of you are still waiting on updates on Eternal. Sadly I have not finished it. This year has been a very busy year for me and my family. We've had some ups and downs. New babies, children moving out and moving on, loss of some beloved family members and much much more. I've been working a lot more hours as well, as I have been moved to a different position in my company.

I know, those are just excuses and I should be writing. But here lies the other problem I am having. I get so far on eternal and then I just stop because it doesn't feel right. I had an entire rough draft done and as I was doing my rewrites the direction just didn't feel right. So I stop and start all over again and I always end up in the same spot. Sometimes this happens when I'm writing and I know that if I push through it the story will not be right and I need to stop and ponder on it. That's where I'm at with this book. I know a few things that I want to change but it's more than just those few things that are wrong with it. So sadly, I'm going to take some more time with this one. I apologize to those of you who are waiting for it.

In the meantime I did come across an old manuscript I started years ago. I'd actually forgotten that I'd even started this one. So much so that when I read it I didn't really even recognize it, except that I knew it was mine because it was a story from my personal life. My daughter and I were actually going through that story last night and her reaction to it made me realize that maybe this is the store I need to work on for now. It's not an autobiography or anything like that. It's actually a ghost hunter story with some real stories from my life going into it. For those of you that are into ghosts and believe that they are real, you might enjoy this one. I've had some experiences in my lifetime. Some real, some jokes that were played on me and my friends. But they were experiences that I enjoy sharing, so they are all going into the book.

I will try to get back to Eternal as soon as possible. The story is there. I just have to get it right.
